Sales Team Manager

We are looking for a hands-on, high-performing sales team leader to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to upper management.

The Sales Team Manager is responsible for leading the team of sales professionals that generate new business and grow existing accounts. The primary role will be delivering functional and technical expertise to facilitate the development and closing of deals. The position will lead our account manager and customer service teams to develop account-winning strategies while providing support in closing business.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures it’s strong presence
  • Develop and maintain a team of highly trained sales and customer service professionals by providing direct coaching/mentoring
  • Support the sales and customer service teams by processing customer orders and inquiries on an as needed basis
  • Contribute to the recruiting, objectives setting, supervision, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Manage individual and team performance within guidelines of company policies and incentive plans.

 

Skills

 

  • BS/BA degree in business administration or a related field preferred
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative leader or sales manager in a B2B selling environment, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated learning curiosity and commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, reading, and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Proven ability to drive a B2B sales process from plan to close
  • Strong commercial business acumen and solid industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Ability to effectively multitask in a dynamic environment

Full-time: Monday through Friday

Salary: Base of $41,600 ($20/hour) plus incentive pay (up to $14,000 annually)

This position is responsible for processing orders for custom marketing/promotional products from our website, with a high rate of conversion, by being in constant contact with clients, designers, and vendors throughout the day with inbound/outbound calls, emails, and text messages.

The ideal candidate will be an organized person who can multitask and who can provide exceptional customer service to our customers.

Responsibilities and duties:

Provide knowledgeable answers to customer phone and e-mail inquiries regarding products and brand.
Ability to process 350-400 orders monthly and assist customers throughout the entire order process (start to finish).
Assist clients with online ordering and follow up accordingly.
Be a liaison between customer, supplier, carrier and assure that the order process is streamlined in a professional manner.
Manage ongoing customer relationships utilizing our CRM tools.
Develop collaborative, positive working relationships with the entire staff.
Assist customers with after-sales service, product and customer experience issues and deliver a solution to any problems which may arise.
Able to communicate concisely our company policies to your customer.
Maintain and update regular client correspondence daily.
Meet a monthly goal of 90% conversion of all orders within a 45-day period.
Deliver world class customer satisfaction.
Ability to handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner.
Collaborate with colleagues in different departments of the company
Position Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to stay organized and successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 50 WPM.
Customer experience focus with strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Positive attitude and proactively dedicated to team success, and displays an eagerness to take on new challenges and additional responsibilities
