Are you looking for some thoughtful ways to honor the selfless service of nurses among your staff and make them feel special?  Here are some great tips that will help you get started

Upgrade nursing break room

Add amenities in the nurses break room to make their rest hours more relaxing. Nurses often have to work for long and unearthly working hours. Make them feel at ease when they are at the break room. Insulated metal tumblers that keep their favorite drinks hot or cold as they wish will make a great choice. Eye masks or custom neck pillows that help them relax and take forty winks during breaks make great choices.

Wish to keep them relaxed?  Think of scented candles. Coloring books or toys like yo yo or Rubik cubes are proven stress busters too.

 A spa or dinner coupon

Spa or dinner coupons will make desirable handouts. Nurses indeed deserve a pampering session after working in challenging conditions for a long time.

Thank you gifts

Give them useful gifts like note pads or custom pens that are customized with your logo and message. These will go a long way in making them team pride.  Often a  word of praise is all it takes to enhance their loyalty and make their work schedules more interesting and fulfilling.

Awards

Make sure to hand out custom awards for exemplary work and outstanding effort. It will be a great motivation for everyone else in the team as well.

Involve them
Let the nurses share their opinions and ideas on administrative issues. It will make them feel part of your business family and will motivate them to go that extra step in their productivity and commitment. Make them feel well appreciated and valuable.
