Breast Cancer Awareness–Myths And Facts

The American Cancer Society estimates that in the year 2021 about 281,550 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women. The mortality rate is expected to be 43,600 women.  Early detection and awareness can go a long way in saving lives.

The  theme for Breast Cancer Awareness month 2021 is “RISE: Rally In Supporting, Serving and Screening Everyone,” which encourages women to go for mammogram screening and raise breast cancer awareness with the support of their family and friends to overcome fear and uncertainty.
