However, there has been a slight reduction in the number of incidents in breast cancer since the year 2000 because of a higher awareness, routine health check-ups and reduced use of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) by women<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Men are at Risk as well<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">About 2,670 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in men in 2019. A man\u2019s lifetime risk of breast cancer is about 1 in 883. These startling figures bust the common myth that men cannot have breast cancer.
